212-300-5x7x (x = same digit)

I got this number in March by chance - it's incredibly rare to receive an 212 NYC area code as they ran out of numbers back in 99. :D

WHOA! Verizon gave that to you?? I'm really inclined to buy a 212 online for like $50 but then I remind myself that it's a phone number and that I shouldn't be blowing any money on an area code.

8003 (eight double-o three!)

My father's is the same and we never say each number individually besides the eight and three. We usually say the first three as a "hundred" number as well. I love having an easy-to-remember number! Makes exchanging numbers with people hassle-free...

My last 4 are 1510. The first three and all but the 5 are the same as a dry cleaning place. So they are xxx-1810. I get calls for them asking if clothes are done. I always say yes, swing by and pick em up!
:)

Mine is pretty easy. The area code and the first three are only different by one number and the last four are 2823.

Unfortunately mine is a meaningless 6582, so I did a quick Internet search and decided it represents 6582 BC which celebrates the transition to farming in Mesoamerica.

I actually used to have that number, it really sucked. I would get 40 to 50 calls a day just seeing if it worked in my area code. After I changed it, I believe AT&T removed the number in the region.

I wonder how many people know - without Googling - whose number this is, and where it was found.

3 phones in my family, they only differ in their last numbers. Last digits are 1, 2, 3.

For example:

123-456-7891
123-456-7892
123-456-7893

212-300-5x7x (x = same digit)

I got 3 NYC numbers when I moved to NYC from DC. I was a Sprint customer and when I moved here, I wanted to try T-Mobile. T-Mobile gave me 3 NYC numbers:

212-444-8XXX
212-444-8XXX
212-444-8XXX

I didn't like T-Mobile so I returned to Sprint for a couple of years and ported the 3 numbers. Then I came to AT&T and kept the three numbers. When I go to the AT&T store and tell them my number they just can't believe it.
