I switched with someone at work so I could have the day off tomorrow :D And I'll be off Saturday too!

I'm just having mine delivered right to my office. Works out nicely :)

Smart thinking... I may try that next time... actually, I doubt they'd deliver to a hospital.

As did I just now! I was working 6a-630p tomorrow but am now working tonight 6p-630a! :D

FedEx said mine was coming express and they would accept a signed note left on the door. I signed up for email notifcation of delivery and I will run home when I get the email. Work is only about 15 minutes from home. I am ready to get it.

I am thinking of pre-signing and having the UPS driver leave my iPhone at my back door. But I'm more scared of the driver taking it then someone else stealing it. Can't the driver just take the signed sheet and steal your iphone and all the liability is on you because you signed the sheet?

No one's

Unless someone is home to sign, iphones won't be left on anyone's doorstep -

Don't you people think that the crooks would be following the ups and fed-x trucks around looking to steal "droped-off" iphones?

Not only does Apple give you the option to pre-sign on their own site, but I've done this every year. What I'm trying to say is, you're wrong.

Obviously you're not getting an iPhone 4S or the pre-release UPS/APPLE release form from the shipping email that you didn't receive.

I'd go crazy if the delivery person left it on my door step! Not the most friendly of places that I stay in...

But I don't need to worry as I'll be in tomorrow to take delivery :D

Fail ship

I called apple and had the shipping address changed because I have to go out of town. The address change has delayed the 4s for two business days making Monday my delivery day. Now it turns out that I dont have to travel.

I actually thought the same thing. But think about it. Is the UPS driver stupid enough to do that? Is he willing to lose his job over a phone? I guess some are, but not likely.
