0000 doesn't exist for computer coding time and transaction purposes. Simple as that. There is no conspiracy.

Military doesn't use 0000 either. Logs will stop at 2359 and begin again at 0001.

Just to chime in because somehow I've become oddly sucked into this thread, I always keep my iPhone on military time (old habit working in professions where it's required). At midnight, the phone displays 0:00, and the date has changed to the following day. Of course, it doesn't display seconds, so there's that nebulousness to deal with.
