Do a google search on this provider - not porn

Tried openig this link at work and it is classified as a porn site

Not sure why your firewall software may be considering this a "porn site" but if you google it or it's products "Moose Brand" then I think you'll find it's legit. They make some nice products, are based in Seattle and offer a good selection of iDevice cases.

I trust that it isn't a porn site, just thought it was humorous that my work did:)

Why a pouch?

Very funny. Well looking at the site name I can see how an overzealous IT person could interpret the site as something less than appropriate for work-time access.

After using the new Apple case for a week I ordered a Sena ultra slim. I have a gold iPhone and to cover it up with a case is horrid. Also Sena now does engraving!!!!!

I got this one today from Vaja.
Looks great (my opinion) feels great.
Ordered the Nuova Pelle also.

I did the same. I like the Apple case, but I really like the feel of the bare phone and the look is nice...I got the brown UltraSlim Access (so I can charge it in the case). Should be nice...it's my first pouch ever, so I'll see if I like it. If I don't, I'll stick with the Apple brown case (I'll probably switch back and forth, as I generally change cases out fairly regularly).

Love the pouches, but there is no corner protection it seems. A light drop right on the exposed corners is what I'm worried about. I know these are not for drop protection, but they can slip out of your pocket when sitting... Any pouches that are a little deeper so that the corners are not sticking out?

I dropped my 5 in one of these onto a tar road and no problem. The leather is thicker than most, (actual thickness) and covers past the end of the phone.

My answer to "why a pouch?"

That is a good question. I too had bought a pouch for my iPhone 4 at the time and after a few weeks stopped using it. Too much hassle I thought.

Then last year I stumble on this now very long wallet/pouch thread on this forum. It got me thinking, and I ended up buying an Atelier wallet pouch:

I have been using daily for almost a year now and I am really happy with it and have no intention of using anything else.

Sure, the draw back is that you have to remove it from the pouch to use it, but after a while it's no big deal. As a matter of fact it may help prevent me from constantly checking my phone.

There are many pluses:

1. I get to use the phone naked
2. The phone is well protected in the pouch. I can toss it around without reservation. When I listen to the music, I leave the phone in the pouch and control the tracks with my headset.
3. It's my wallet. OK, this is the most important reason. I no longer leave the house with a phone in one pocket and my wallet in the other. My wallet carries my phone.

Very nice choice! Ugh, I just ordered this one, and I wish I would have seen your choice before: http://tinyurl.com/ly7tu8o

It's the same some others have posted here before. I hope that I can fit two cards + ID + some cash in the card slot...but it looks doubtful. If not, I'm gonna order the one you picked up.

I found the etsy site for the manufacturer; how long did it take to get? I'm in CA.

Thanks!
Nick

It took a few weeks last year, but is well worth it. I talked about the quality in my review, but in a nutshell the material and craftsmanship is superb, and the design is awesome. Here is why:

Most wallet case, including the Speck I also bought prior to this, are OK for cards, but I find myself needing to carry cash. After using the Speck case for a few weeks I find myself often end up with cash in my pocket, not ideal. Sure, you can carefully fold a bill around a card and insert it in the card slot, but what do you do with other bills you get back as changes. And it takes time to fold a bill around a card before inserting into a card slot. It's not a compromise I want to put up everyday.

The Atelier wallet separate pockets for cards and cash is great. The flap side is where I keep cash, and I can easily fit 4-5 bills in there, more if I want to. It function as a really good wallet.

This, 1000% (and yes, I just registered to respond to this thread...longtime lurker).

I've been using various iterations of the Moshi iPouch for a long time, for iPods, my old Nokia E66, through an iPhone 3GS, 4S, and now a 5S.

I love that it allows me to keep my phone naked, and still protects it in my pocket. I did, however, have to put a very thin case on my 4S just for grip (I went with an Elago S4 SF).

That's correct.

How's their warranty though?

A warranty for an iPhone sleeve/pouch/case ?

Just looked and bookmarked it. The Moshi pouch is very cool

Naked, Squartrade & Homemade Pouch

With my iP4, I went naked for over a year. Dropped the thing twice on cement and it just got a slight scuff. The glass held up! Really surprised how strong that glass is. This time I'm going Naked again, but with a home made Felt Pouch. I saw how its made online and they look great! Good enough for scratch protection. Now I used the money that I would waste on cases and used it for full protection with Accidental with Squaretrade. If it gets trashed, it simply gets replaced right at the Apple store. It really feels amazing using the iPhone 4 now 5 completely case free. :)
