In my city Olive Garden is a huge step up compared to Fazoli's and Joe's Italian Grill. How many Italians do you know named Joe? The next city over smaller than mine has Jake's Chinese Restuarant. How many Chinese are named Jake?

Yeah, well, a friend of mine is Joe and his Italian... in 3rd generation, hehe. See, Joe is easy to pronounce, now how would you like Guiseppe's Italian Grill instead? :)

Hey, maybe that guy's from Hong Kong.

Terrible analogy. Any Italian will secretly tell you (you may have to use pliers) that Olive Garden is actually pretty good.

This gives me an idea; I'll just use pliers on anyone who likes Olive Garden :D

Why Apple?

-They really know how to hit the sweet spot.
-They are a very organized, innovative company.
-They have the best website I've ever been on.
-Their products have amazing design.
-The left hand actually knows what the right hand is doing in the company.
-Apple has a huge section on their website about the environment (you can rest assured that the product you're buying from Apple is energy-efficient - not that other companies' products aren't, it's just that Apple goes through the extra step of showing you how many Kw per hour it wastes, etc. - Apple has a strong emphasis on the environment.)
-Their products are usually built better, and are more durable for long-time use. (My iMac looks and performs like-new and I bought it two years ago)
-The Apple logo
-The fact that they annually come out with new product refreshes or updates, so you'll always have something to look forward to.
-The company and their products focus on the customer's experience.
-Going to the Apple store is like going to a theme park attraction.

If you need to run osx for work you should buy a mac, there's no other option. Hackintosh is fine for a hobby, but you can't trust it for work.

Why on earth would anyone buy an Alienware for working from home? It's overpriced gaming hardware for people who don't want to build their own. For $2,500 you can build a PC that's customized for exactly what you need to do with it, and it takes an afternoon with a bit of troubleshooting.

Win7 is a good OS... I used to dread using a windows machine, but 7 on an ssd is great. But you said you needed osx, so...
