Dirty 4.7 inch 750p peasants, glorious 5.5 inch 1080p master race :p

It's the internet, nowadays everyone feels they need to defend their purchase. Like it's a competition or something idk.

I have a 6 and I would have bought a 6+ if I had bigger hands, watched more movies, played games and didn't make as many calls as I do. I actually use my iPhone as a 'Phone' with everything else being secondary so the 6 made more sense. I'd love to have a reason to have a 6+ because it looks amazing but it really makes no sense in my world.

Sounds like you haven't used it in a long while ;-)

If you consider last week a long while, then yes. A coworker kept losing wifi on his HTC One. Just going through the setup on the phone and workarounds we found online was annoying. The wifi dropping might be a hardware problem with HTC, but the user interface was not very friendly or intuitive.

Of course I was looking up the workarounds online using my iPhone 6 on the same wifi his HTC could not hold on to....

That's fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion. There are lots of reports of iOS rendering WiFi on iPhones pretty lousy...

iOS is an intuitive device but the Settings section is an absolute mess. It was initially intended to be a simple interface for adjusting settings but it's quickly becoming an overfilled heap where important switches are buried in obscure places. And worst of all, it's not searchable.

So, while I personally prefer iOS to its competitors, I really don't think "iOS Settings" is something anyone should be bragging superiority on.

I do agree with settings on iOS needing improvement in general, but I was just comparing the wifi settings on the two phones at the time.

Apple does seem to be cleaning up settings, but just a few tiny changes at a time...

As soon as the specs were released I said that the i6 was just a 5S with a bigger screen and Apple Pay but no, I was hounded down and accused of being stupid. It's much faster they said, and with a way better camera. Well, in the real world it is no faster than the 5S, and the camera is actually *worse* lol.

Now we have people saying that the 6+ is 'way better' than the i6. Sure it has a bigger screen and better battery life, both of which it will obviously have; but the OIS seems to create worse photos, the bezels make the device huge & unwieldly, and it bends. In my mind, the 5S remains the best iPhone and if you want a bigger screen, then Android is *still* the way to go. I'm hoping that Apple address all these concerns with the iPhone 6S. They need to.

Camera on the 6 and 6+ is worse? You gotta be kidding me.

I don't believe it is the cameras fault for pictures, it is the software and the smoothing that Apple applies that makes it look like water colored painted pictures. I think it takes real great pictures with the exception of that. As for the larger, unwieldy size, personal opinion. I've been using my 6+ for a week and it works fine for me. I can easily see how the 6 would appeal to people as well that want a smaller sized phone though but bigger than the 5, which does feel super tiny now compared to the 6+. just used my wife's 5 yesterday. Don't think I want to go back to such a small screen ever. The bezels are annoying but they are there to stay. It is BARELY longer than the Note 3 and guess what, the Note 4 is even bigger than the Note 3 so if you think the 6+ is too big then many of the 5.5"+ android screened phones will be too big as well for you.

Again, personal preference.

If you are already heavily invested in Apple's ecosystem the having the option of the 6 and 6+ is great for those of us that wanted a larger screen.

I'm so confused by this... I mean I could get an iPad Mini and that would have better battery life and a screen too.

It's not like I didn't get a 6+ because of price or something, I literally had no choice there was only one iPhone 6 I could buy that would fit me.

Are the?. I have never seen or heard about this happening..

Why are you letting them bother you. You know you have to respond for it to become real. If you don't they are sat muttering to themselves and you know what they say about people who talk to themselves.

Why are 6+ trying to rub the advantages in to 6 owners?

The people who rub it in are insecure. We all had the same opportunities to buy what we wanted and I chose the iPhone 6 pure and simple. If I had thought the Plus was better for my needs, I would have bought it. It's that simple. :)

It's not important; it is a matter of personal preference. The same as some prefer Android over Apple.

People told me that a 6+ 128gb phone is a waste of space. I don't care. I made the right choice for ME!! And yes, I have an iPad mini, too!

This phone allows me to leave the mini at home when I go to work and I carry my phone in my kangaroo pouch. Get to play my games and watch movies during breaks and lunch without straining my eyes.

And, at least now, there are CHOICES. Those that prefer the 5s are still able to get that size, and there are two generation 6 to choose from.

I feel like it's the opposite lately. Way too many people saying "aww the Plus is too big for me I want the 6" and then they actually start saying the 6 is superior to the 6 Plus. I don't think any phone is superior, they both have their pros and cons, but many 6 users try to justify the purchase of a smaller phone by actually bashing every 6 Plus and their owners. Small phone - big ego I guess. But an insecure one at that, cause everyone who bashes Plus for its gigantic size is kind of telling himself he didn't make the wrong decision.:apple:

We all can agree right here and now that if you have a 6 or 6+ that we choose iOS over android. I'm invested into Apple's Eco system and it would be tough to leave and go to Android. We as iOS users can agree if you have a 6 or 6+ you have a great phone either way. People who use android love to bash Apple bc they prefer android over iOS and vise versa.

6 owner here, previous owner of the 6 Plus. Decided the 6 was the best for my personal needs, as all of us have done with our respective device purchases.

Neither side should bash the other. 6 owners should stop saying "the Plus is an impractical monstrosity" and Plus owners should stop saying " you guys got the 6 minus"

Both sides need to get a grip and enjoy using their APPLE products, an ecosystem and brand that we are all a part of.
