I've learned that we're all a hell of a lot smarter while sitting behind our monitors. I would love to sit with you and have a conversation face to face. Something tells me it won't go as well, for you.
Or we don't care. I don't need to be an elitist about what food I consume; in the end it's all organic and inorganic matter.
I work in the biological sciences. I know quite well whats in most products, and I really don't give a crap-- the purported detriment to your health from some of these agents is about as over-dramatized as an EPA visit. Or that movie Fork over Knives.

i find them to be very pleasing in a care package. it soothes the mre's and dfac slop and is a quick snack on a long mission, or while in a Mrap of buffalo (overgrown bomb detector with humans inside) for long periods of time.

Anything makes MREs taste better. I think dirt would make those taste better.
I don't have a knock on Slim Jims, but I prefer good jerky. Right now, it's Jack Link.
oh yea, good jerky will always win over a slim jim. especially if you prepared it yourself
