Why are so many people complaining about the new iPhone back?

The new iPhone could cook you bacon every morning and get you off every night. People would still complain.

I do happen to think that the back of the phone is ugly, but I haven't really seen this thing up close, nor do I know if this new design is going to pack any new features. So I will chill out for now and see if they can wow me.

Do you really think that is Apple's best effort in design? I don't. I actually find it lame and tasteless. I will not complain but I do think Apple can do a lot better. Have you seen the Samsung Galaxy S3? It is such a beautiful device. The iPhone 4 was an incredible design as well. The leaked photos of the iPhone 5 I don't like too much. But this is me.

I actually like the design of the galaxy s3 and may still get one but I doubt it. I tried the OneX and it just made me miss my iPhone. I also think the OneX and the 4s have much sharper and brighter screens than the S3 and I don't want to feel like I'm taking a step backwards on one of the most important areas for me. I am a screen man. It doesn't have to be huge but it does need to be bright and sharp. If I could put the OneX screen on the S3 I would be set.

I was hoping for a bigger jump in screen size but I like the design of the 5 if these leaks are the real thing. I think the black two tone iphone looks great but I've never loved the white ones anyway. I really regret getting the white 4s.

Because there's a lot of "silly" people on this forum. The back looks great..even though I rather that blacker tones iPhone render we have seen.. But it's the back of a phone.. I don't get people's fuss about it at all.. It seems like everyone complains about the wrong things

Yeah I'm hoping the black with the dark gunmetal aluminum is accurate because it looks really good. I would have a very hard time putting a case on that unless it was clear.

Lets see how the 5 feels in your hand. Thats more important then what its made of. Remember it has to be perfectly balanced, not a cheap light feel etc.
we'll all know soon enough.

I'm fully expecting it to look even more gorgeous in person than it does in the leaked photos, and I think those leaked photos are really lovely.

Just watch.

All this speculation is a major waste of mental energy. Inevitably Apple will release a product that most will love initially and the rest will grow to love.

They did the Two toned back with the original iPhone, with the black bar on the bottom only... Then it has been uniform ever since.

It is almost like they are combining the original iPhone with the 4/4S here with the two tone. I do not think it looks good personally. It could grow on me, but I doubt it.
