Like I said earlier, just make the 11 pages and dump them off to the 12th page. You don't need to have 11 pages full of apps, just make 11 pages (is that clear?). Then you won't see whatever you want to dump, unless you use spotlight.

I don't know how much clearer I can be. I DON'T WANT 11 pages. I don't even have enough apps to make 11 pages. Got it? I'm trying to reduce my pages, not make more.

But why not just add 1 page more than you want, and put all the unwanted apps on the last page? Then you never swipe over there and you never see the apps? It bugs you just knowing that they are there, even if you never see them?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

Because Steve said so!

I have this weird need to have only Apple apps on my first screen. Call it OCD. First screen has all Apple only apps, and the second screen has third party apps. Although, I wish Voice Memos wasn't an Apple app... the icon looks so stupid and I never record voice memos.

Just like it bugs people about the tiny design flaws of the 3GS?

please, let's find more things to complain about.

It looks the same as the 3G. The battery percentage can be incorrect sometimes. The battery percentage isn't on other iPhone's/iPod's. The voice control isn't 100% accurate. I still can't zoom in. The screen doesn't change orientation WHILE recording. The compass isn't 100% accurate. Find My iPhone should be passcode locked. My right speaker is broken. The auto-brightness acts weird sometimes. I can't think of anything else.

That last one wasn't a statement. It, too, was a complaint. FYI.

can't zoom in? what do you mean? have you tried the zoom function on the 3GS?

You don't have to fill all the pages with apps to have 11 pages.

How is this accomplished? Put one app on each page or what? Personally I would rather have a couple of apps I dont want on there as opposed to 11 pages with 1 app on it just so I can have another page.

Edit: I just tried putting 1 app on each page and then pushing the Stock app off the screen and it wouldnt go for me. Not sure what Im doing wrong.

I agree with the main poster that it is a bit annoying not to be able to remove them.

But, it isn't that big a deal for me to just move them off to a back page.

That seems to settle my problems

Jailbroken phones have had this option for a long while. In settings you have a section that shows the list of all apps on the phone and you turn off the ones you want to hide.

There should be an option not to delete, but to turn the default apps off in Settings like you can do with Nike+ on the 3GS.

my iphone feels slippery because i use it so much i lost my cleaning cloth
we need a new ui for apps and i want some pizza
