Has anyone else been annoyed for years that in the iOS Music app you can’t just tap the album artwork while a song is playing to get to the album? Instead, you have to tap the artist name, then choose “Show Album.” Two steps for something that should be one. It’s a clunky design choice, and I honestly can’t believe it’s never been fixed.

If this bugs you too, Apple’s not going to change it unless enough of us make noise. You can submit feedback here: apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

The more people push this, the better the chance it actually lands on someone’s desk in Cupertino. This is such a simple, obvious improvement—it’s long overdue.

I couldn't agree more. Every time I sit there and think, here's to another miserable day, before taking a huge swig of whatever it is I find in the cellar, I think, at least I have my music. And what do my wondering eyes but appear? But no tiny booklet for me to see there. It's album art, not the worst I suppose, but I want to flick through, the way I used to before. My CDs, my tapes, my records and stuff, even iTunes Extras had PDFs to open up.
