My bezel is not totally flush and I also have some dust under the screen. I've accepted that apple is going to continually reduce the quality of their phone's build to make a quick buck, so I'm not sweating it.

Now my 3G signal doesn't work half the time, that's NOT small stuff. Hopefully the update will fix this. My phone has utterly gone to crap, signal wise.

We'd need a psychologist to answer that question. To me, it's just a nice phone, which as long as it's functional, I'm happy. I may be the minority.

I'm not a psychologist yet, but I am completing a masters degree in clinical psychology and here are my answers to the question.

1. People tend to worry about the little things to provide a distraction from larger stressors.

2. Relating to number 1, many people find comforting in the perceived belief of control. The idea that one can prevent his or her iphone or any other phone from scratching is a false sense of hope. Things happen and things scratch.

3. Our personalities all differ, small scratches for some signify the end of the world. Where for others, a scratch is just a scratch (sometimes a rose is simply a rose).

Either way, a healthy obsession of taking care of your investments never hurt anybody. It's when the healthy obsession moves to unhealthy like the person that wanted the bullet proof case hahaha jk! If it doesn't cause a problem in your social functioning (i.e., work) and interpersonal relationships, you are probably doing ok.

Um, if anything I owned--let alone something this expensive--spontaneously developed cracks or otherwise experienced faults/flaws that were in no way caused by me, you can bet your life I'd return the thing. And you know what? It's my prerogative to do so. If you don't want to, fine.

How about you let us worry about our phones if we want... You should spend more time working on your spelling and grammar.
