Why do people think that WWDC 2013 logo means new UI for iOS 7?

judging from the 2011 & 2012 pictures... it means absolutely nothing.

I really hope they won't go for the color approach on iPhones. It's a desperate move, not a serious phone upgrade. I'm glad they kept Mac OS X nice and clean (except I don't like how they went overkill on grey in Mountain Lion).
