Why do some continue using Microsoft Office on Mac?

You can always use OnlyOffice for free which is docx compatible.

MS Office GUI is a bloat mess already, so having the co pilot in there is not an extra issue. I think you have not met the new co pilot icon that appears on every cell you click in excel!?
