Why do you hate the Beatles?

It seems that much of the animosity is less at the Beatles and more at Apple. The Beatles, unfortunately, just aren't iOS 4.2, cloud-based iTunes, or an iPad with a retina screen and camera.

Which, for whatever reason, seemed to be expected, so no love for the Beatles.
 
It's just the hype that was created I think. I have nothing against the Beatles but I don't think it deserved a front page announcement. Should of just showed up in iTunes and said "Beatles, Now Available"
 
I don't hate them, but I wouldn't really consider myself a fan at this point. their music is 40+ years old and I've grown tired hearing it.

I think today's announcement is much ado about nothing. You're paying a premium price for stuff that's easily and readily available for less elsewhere.
 
I don't mind some of their songs. Good morning and elenor rigby are ones that come to mind. I may purchase them if I have a few £ looking lonely.

But seriously, this is not a day I'll never forget.
 
I don't mind their music.

I just think that a majority of people were disappointed when the hype didn't meet their expectations.

This. Just did a quick check and you can get some (maybe all?) of the latest remastered CDs for $7.99 each at Amazon.com. I love the Beatles, but I don't know why I'd fork over an extra $5 just to buy one of their albums through the iTunes store.
 
I love The Beatles. Great day for them and Apple and all the new fans who can experience mop-top-pop and some really cool trippy stuff. 15 of the top 50 albums on iTMS are Beatles albums. Simply amazing.
 
I don't hate the Beatles themselves. I have a few of their songs on my iPod. For the most part, I find them catchy pop tunes.

I dislike people's reactions to the Beatles. People praise their wonderful lyrics, but have you ever paid attention to the lyrics in "Love me Do" or "I Want to Hold Your Hand"? Not exactly groundbreaking lyrics there.
