Where did I say I was using an SE?
Oh sorry, just a random guess because some friend mentioned that SE is more slippery than the previous cases with the glass back. I don't know which phone you're using.😂

Yes- I take the card out to use it... rarely when Apple Pay is not an option. I do have a card that can be tapped but I haven't tried that card in my case.

I also carry cash for the extremely rare circumstance where there is no credit card option (processing system down or I am out in the countryside where it is cash-only).
I see. Thanks for sharing. : )

Both of my iPhones use the ENCASED cases with belt clips - the cases protects the phone, but still shows off the phone and clips into a belt clip holder that keeps it secure on my belt:

Cool design! Thanks for sharing : )

Do you mind sharing a picture of your phone case?

It's a case that looks like this, nothing special, mostly generic:

Does the job, has a lip around the edge to protect it and wrap around case. I had it open when I dropped it which is why the screen protector took a hit but it's been dropped plenty of times and survived.

My Iphone is only 1 month old and I already had it saved by case. I tripped while out jogging. Corner hit the cement. The case is scuffed. Phone is fine. So well worth to put a case on. My arm and leg on the other hand lol, bloody mess.

Sorry to hear that. Did you use a jogging case? (the kind that can be tied around your arms or your waist). Or you just went jogging with the phone in your hand?

Thanks,

No I wasn't using a Jogging case, I just have a Spigen brand clear Case. So I had it in my hand. Slightly scratched my brand new Apple Watch too. Not too bad, but still annoyed since it's brand new. I can see it in certain angles of light hitting the watch face. I got Apple Care for the watch. So if it gets too scratched maybe that'll cover fixing.

Share your stories with phone cases and show your phone case fantascies!

As phones have become larger + more expensive and adding more glass and metal while using less plastic, I have chosen to put cases on them to ensure they stay protected so that I don’t have to claim on insurance, cases and screen protectors to me are like a pre-insurance lol, if they fail and the phone breaks only then will I have to make a claim.

Current phone: 11 Pro Max
Case: Apple Forest Green Leather Case.

I would hate to know how much an iPhone 11 Pro Max screen costs to repair right now.

Much respect to those who use these phones without cases, protectors or insurance, you are incredibly brave souls!

Is this a trick question?

You look at the screen wrong and it cracks. I also travel (well, not now) and cannot imagine being overseas and having the phone disintegrate on me. Yikes. That would stink.

I travel a lot (between US <-> UK) and want to keep my phone usable during that time, and plus the prices for new backs on the 11 are awfully expensive.

I use a Tech21 Evo Check case and the Belkin screen protector that is professionally applied at the Apple Store (did have a cheaper Armor Edge XR one, but it started peeling after a few months). Really like this combo, and has kept my phone looking excellent (no real case scratches) for 9.5 months now.

because I have a anamorphic lens adapter and the moment case uses it sometimes, only used when I forget my mirrorless camera

It seems that a nice case/protection for the watch is much more in need than for the phone. lol
