I think it's not fair that when you look the stock homescreen on all the iphones, all the screens look the same until you go into certain apps or browse then you'll see the lower resolution of the 11 basic compared to the pro models.

I have a 11 basic 64 and I kinda dislike that. Not too fair to me.

Seriously, what are you going on about?

Explain how it’s not fair that *you* chose a device with a lower resolution screen that Apple are completely upfront about.

There’s nothing wrong with the screen on the iPhone 11. If it’s not to your liking, then pay a few hundred more for not much different lol. It’s up to you, and no Apple aren’t hiding a lower resolution with a wallpaper.

What ? I don't use any of the default wallpapers and the resolution on my 11 looks great.

are you complaining about the liquid drop default wall paper? just change it, to be fair i never use the default wallpaper on the more expensive previous oled iphone either.

I see, I can tell the resolution when I watch youtube or check out a certain webpage. thank you.

You can see pretty clearly on Apple's site that the regular 11 has a lower resolution screen. And even though it does it isn't even that noticeable.

Everyone has there own opinions and I do respect that, but that doesn’t change the fact that I completely mis-understood the title of this thread.

At first it read as though OP was saying that only the wallpaper looked low res. That was the way I took it.

Exactly! When I had the iPhone XR after having my iPhone XS Max I as trouble as well. Besides the blacks being deeper and the whites being whiter. That was mostly due to OLED vs LCD.

My opinion is ‘still’ different to yours me old mucker. I’m not going to pretend it’s not just to keep you happy. Deal with it lol.

Yeah but your opinion is wrong and not backed by facts if you think there is not much more for a few hundred is what you said.
The 11 is overpriced for what you get, not even as good as a 8 plus, you will be downgrading and don't even release when you buy last years 11 model end of this year lol, seeing as you won't pony up for a 12 or even a 11 pro haha.

Dude, please, just consider letting your disdain for the 11 and your never ending crusade to bash it, justify your purchase, whatever it is....subside for a bit. There’s not a member here who has not read your recycled argument in 50 different posts. Just try.

You say I’m wrong but it’s my opinion and what you’ve said here is just your opinion. There is no factual evidence to say the iPhone 11 is ‘overpriced’, that’s simply your subjective point of view.

You seem to be claiming to know what phone I’m getting before I do? A new phone isn’t high on my priority list right now surprisingly during this pandemic, so why the juvenile unfounded remark at the end of your post???

What is a fact is you clearly don’t know what an opinion is, I’ll educate you.

An opinion is a view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.

Until you learn how to interact with other members in a respectful and adult manner, and when you can put a coherent sentence together, I would love it if you disappeared from these forums. I suspect I wouldn’t be alone. I genuinely don’t understand people of your ilk who think it’s appropriate to come along and ‘talk’ to people like you do. I wonder if you would do the same in real life?

OP, you bought the phone, if you don’t like it, change it, sell it, whatever.

A device at a lower resolution screen, that Apple is completely upfront about, where your eyes most likely cannot see the difference, and that saved you a few hundred dollars.
