Why does it seem like everyone thinks 3.0 is coming out next month?

This is what they're gonna do;

Apple will announce the NEW iphone WITH 3.0 ready to buy now and then say 3.0 is available to the rest to download in a couple of months. Good strategy to get people to get fed up with their current iphone and buy the new one as it has the firmware first.
