iPhone 13 Pro Max Why does nobody seem to care about poor performance on iOS 15?

I mean seriously. Sure there is a thread about this here and there but no news site reports this or any reviewer.

My iPhone 13 pro max AND my M1 iPad stutter very often when scrolling. Even in safari. How has this not been solved yet?

Because just about everyone who’s experiencing problems is used to iOS always having issues and just puts up with it.

Poor performance is not an issue on any of my devices with iOS 15. I’m not disputing that it may differ for others but my iOS experiences have been largely trouble-free.

But it lags while scrolling through pdf’s and longer descriptions in play store.

Probably more like Apple has slowly trained users to be numb about performance issues unless they screw up hard. Me doesn’t have much issue but constant 4G usage throttles the iPhone hard, which seems to be pretty normal but yeah…

I've been lamenting upgrading to iOS 15 on my iPhone XR, slower performance across the board but specially sluggish in certain applications, I really should have waited a few more months before upgrading.

On my Mac I'm always one version behind and so should I on my phone going forward.

Because we’re not experiencing poor performance? My iPhone 7 Plus was fine, as is my iPhone 13. On the iPadOS front, same story, my 2018 iPad Pro has been fine.

I have had issues with WatchOS and am avoiding Monterey because I’ve heard nothing but horror stories about it, but iOS is actually remarkably solid for me this year.

My 12 Mini is fast and stutter free. A few bugs here and there (mostly involving Home or Focus) but overall works great.

Running great on my Xs. Maybe try a restore. I always do clean installs of the major versions once a year. Great for app cleanup.

We are desensitized. Buggy, slow, poor battery life, memory leak, security and privacy vulnerabilities (some unintentional, but some intentional), etc, are all normal for us now. It's just Apple.

Try reset all settings. If that doesn’t resolve, setup as new.

The only way to know if it is IOS is to setup your phone as a new device and see if it still has performance issues for you. You mentioned Safari as having stutter issues. The only time I see any kind of stuttering is when I turn on Low Power mode or enable Limit Frame Rate.
