Why doesnt Amazon.com have the new Macbook Pros?

I cannot find the 13-inch MBP with 4GB of RAM, the 2.53Ghz processor, or the 250GB hard drive. Same goes with the 15-inch MBP with the 2.53GHZ processor, the 4GB of RAM, and the 250GB hard drive. Did Apple not give Amazon.com the newest MBP?
 
Looking for the 15-inch MBP that is in Stock and sold by Amazon.com. Like the first link with the 13-inch MBP
 
It's not there, like you said in your first post. I'm not sure why you are stuck on having it sold by Amazon.
 
MacMall is showing the product hasn't arrived there either, so I'm guessing Amazon doesn't have them either.

Did you try ordering from that place anyway to see if you would even be charged tax and shipping? Shipping is only saving you a few dollars so I'm not sure why that's even a concern.

Why didn't you just e-mail amazon about it in the first place? It's not like anyone here is going to be able to give you a definitive answer.
 
Usually with Apple products, resellers are the last to get the products, after the online Apple Store and the brick & mortar Apple Stores. So, that would explain it under normal circumstances, but right now things are a bit different. Many Apple Stores are out-of-stock on those models, the online Apple store has been showing something like 7-10 business days to ship on those models. Rumor has it that there is a shortage of 250GB hard drives (maybe even an industry wide shortage). So, my guess is once the hard drive shortage is cleared up, the online Apple store will go back to ships in 24 hrs and Apple Stores will get more stock as well. Eventually, resellers will get more stock as well. Best short term strategy is to get a different model that's available or go with CTO (Configure To Order) with a larger hard drive.

Unless I'm way off, this is 15" MacBook Pro (the new one) is in stock by Amazon, with free shipping and no sales tax (only on certain states).
