Not to say that drunk driving isn't bad, but how can you be sure that these accidents were drunk-driving related? (Especially since you said the driver had completely abandoned the car in the first one).
Snow+high velocity+turn = accidents whether you're drunk or not.
fast moving car + stone wall (solid object won of course) = one hell of a dazed driver especially if he hit his head and had a concussion or other head injury.

If I know one thing, it's that the majority of people are awful drivers, and awful weather makes it even more appearant.
Mind you, there's snow on the side of the roads, but the road itself is perfectly dry. Just cold. You have to be doing 50+ to skid off my road on that turn, which isn't sharp at all.

The guy came back. And when he slid off the week before, he was wasted. I spoke with him, and he couldn't even stand up. Same with the wall accident, not to mention he wreaked of alcohol. I guess it was coincidental that I'd encounter so many in a short span, but I am out and about lots.

Why drunk people should not drive?...

because they drunk.

Never cease to be amazed at how ignorant drunk people are. There is a reason they call it "getting smashed."

Good explanations.
You have some crazy (bad) luck being around those accidents in such a short time span like you said.
Good to know you weren't hurt.

People with drinking issues are bad in general.

Especially when an alcoholic redneck and his redneck son chase you at a high speed chase 2 because they think they are looking for drug money because you turn around in their driveway because your stupid GPS thinks that their road is a through street when in fact it is a dead end with no other way to turn around and then they grab you by the neck and tell you that you're not getting any money out of them and you have no idea what the **** they are talking about and he is too drink to think logically and realize you're not a drug dealer.

Long story short. Wrong Place, Wrong Time, and drunk rednecks.

Don't get drunk and leave your house.

because they drunk.

I wonder where the expression "get cocked" came from. (Its a Connecticut term synonymous to getting drunk"

I never drink alcohol before I drive. But there was one time when I've done it. I even was stopped by policeman after it but he didn't checked me on alcohol in spite of I was really drunk! :)
We have rather strict laws in Russia concerning this. Once we were drinking Rum with my friend. Next morning he was driving a car and policeman stopped him, checked and took off his driving license. He was still drunk. He can't drive for 1,5 years!
What laws do you have in your country?
