Hardware-wise they're all virtually the same thing. Android does have closer to true multitasking, and is an open platform, but yeah, the iPad's got more programs.

Flash performance isn't the FAULT of Tegra...it's just sites that are designed around having a real PC aren't going to do real great on something vastly less powerful...hence why iOS skips not only Flash, but cheats at rendering in other ways too.

Hmm...I guess HP's Touchpad can mostly handle playing flash video, though I've heard scrubbing through it doesn't work or doesn't work well (at least with the initial software release).

Do wish you could install Flash though on an iPad!
I hate to sounds like a broken record but flash is available on the iPad for $5 video scrubbimg also works fine

Thanks-I didn't know about that, and that may end up being useful for some things. I'll give it a try.

But for sure it's not a replacement for a real Flash plug in for a variety of reasons.

-It's apparently somehow streaming stuff, not running it natively.
-Compatibility?
-Security-something like this isn't safe to be used for anything that needs to be secure. You're having to both trust this company with anything that you type into their program, AND trust that they're correctly encrypting every piece of what they're doing.

What would be great is for...well first, we need to be able to have Firefox or the like, but that aside, Adobe needs to be able to offer Flash, and then ideally have a little button to press to turn it on and off, or at least a toggle in settings.
