As far as making Firefox more mac like the theme that comes by default uses the real aqua gui elements, the theme only works for the mac version due to this. If you don't like some of the stuff, i suggest trying to contact someone who works on the firefox gui for the mac and maybe make some suggestions.. i was thinking of doing the same and getting a few things that irritated me fixed.. if all else fails i may end up just making my own extension that changes some of the keyboard shortcuts to those that I like... in which case i'd make it available to everyone else...

Camino gets the feastures TommyLee is complaining about right. It doesn't have quite all the bloat of Firefox, but it's a genuine Mac program.

the problem i have with using camino is that it doesn't support the extensions that firefox does (which to me is a BIG bonus for using firefox).

The keyboard shortcut thing is easy to fix.. i'm actually attempting to work on it now.. and yes, the page up page down thing is the first i'll work on.. the next would be for switching tabs with the keyboard..

the reason i use firefox on my powerbook is simple.. the firewall my college uses.. some novell POS has to validate with username/password (it's called BorderManager for anyone who is familiar)... well safari doesn't like it and refuses to work using the proxy server... firefox works fine... it's not really a safari issue, it's a mac os x issue when using a proxy server such as bordermanager. so i use firefox at school, and safari at home.. i love safari but wish it had more features like firefox does...
