Depends on one's usage and personal preferences. They both run the same apps and while the X runs circles around the SE in terms of benchmarks, real-world usage, the X is only marginally faster for most common tasks. If one values FaceID, OLED, larger display, etc. a lot, then sure one would say it's a remarkably different experience. Personally, I couldn't really care less about the features on the X. I'm more concerned with whether the phone runs the apps I use at an acceptable performance level.That’s awesome you can be happy with what you have, but to say an old iPhone is the same experience as an X is sour grapes. I’m right there with you man. Life is expensive and we have to make choices.
Mind, I bought the original iPhone in 2007 and had $1200 budgeted for the 10th anniversary edition. I just wasn't interested in what I saw during the keynote.
