why is apple so quiet about the ipad

Huh? Have you been to Apple.com? The iPad has been the splash screen since the announcement a month ago.

Now if you are talking about Apple releasing additional information -- ever consider they are not ready for that next step yet, either by marketing design or regulatory requirement?
