Apple doesn't sell specs, they sell use cases. Which is a good thing, unless they misuse your trust and oversell an underperforming feature.
Specs are useless, they don't generate any value. A simple thing as a camera sensor has an amount of pixels, the alignment of those, the colour format (4:2:0, ...), the maximum bitrate, the signal to noise ratio, the readout itself (debayering, ...), sensor size, number of focus pixels, rolling shutter, dynamic range, native ISOs, rolloff, a number of specs for axis stabilisation ... I'm sure I forgot quite some more. Every single parameter I just mentioned is critical to the quality of a camera. That's just the sensor, not even talking about the glass and so on. And yet, I bet you didn't hear of most of those ever in your life. Instead, the "specs" get sold as megapixels and f-stops.
That's why specs are worthless, it's comparable results that count. 50% faster than Z, that's a comparable result. If you don't trust a company, check out a good review side. notebookcheck.com is your best friend.
