What does prorated mean? I just bought my IPhone yesterday and i'm only staying for a month and paying my ETF. How much billing am i going to pay for the monthly fees >.>? I'm on the 69.99 plan. Btw it says my bill is on the 8/8/08 and i'm canceling on the 30th of august.

"Prorated" simply means that you will be charged a portion of your monthly fees, starting on the day you got the iPhone, through the end of the billing cycle they put you on.

For example, I got my iPhone on 7/23, and my billing cycle closes 8/11. I will be billed for 20 days (the prorated part) plus the next month service in full, in advance (8/11-9/11). So, for the $ 75 plan, that works out to be about $ 125 ($75 + 50...). Of course, if you cancel on 8/30, you may be (have to read the fine print...) refunded the unused portion of the monthly charge.
