Why is PCs laptops the display screen is inferior to Apple laptops?

Apple has two versions of the entire creative studio set. That's wonky for sure. Which one is which? which one do I download?
Do I get the same stuff with the free LEGACY app? Do the new Paid app have less? who knows?
To drive this point home that people are trying to make, BOTH SIDES have dumb stuff. We can go back and forth all day because they are have terrible stuff in their Software and hardware.

Why is Microsoft using command prompt, terminal and PowerShell? What is the reason they are using all three? I thought command prompt was being phased out and PowerShell was the future?
There's a ton of legacy Windows software that may use old interfaces and why shoot them when you don't have to?
Yes, Apple does shoot them from time to time and developers have to adapt or just not support newer platforms. Supporting old stuff is more of a feature in the Windows world so that you can run stuff from the 1990s.

cmd prompt is basically what DOS was. Back before windows 95, you booted into dos, and then started windows.
powershell is more of a task automation solution. Its not a shell in the strictest sense of what bash or zsh, its more about coding programs that allow you to automate tasks, like interacting with active directory.
Terminal is MS' attempt to unify and allow cmd command, and powershell commands.
For my usage, I use the command shell, and powershell independently.

I mainly use command shell but I'm an old CYGWIN person.

My workplace got 4k Dell laptops for a certain business group almost 5 years ago now. Not every windows laptop has a 1920x1080 basic screen. Largely it depends on purpose for the machine.

Not every laptop NEED 4k displays. I use 1080 on my my devices. I have my phones set to 1080. I have not felt a need, reason, or want to have a 4k display. I want larger displays and they will be 4k but not for the 4k option. For the larger size options.
I use macbooks and yeah, their display is a bit brighter, and way more saturated in color, they are no more enjoyable to use than my current systems.
4k laptops are actually rare. The most common are probably 17.3 inch and 18 inch laptops which aren't common. They're often for gaming, engineering and special cases where a big screen is necessary and weight isn't an issue.
I have a 4k 14 inch laptop and these are uncommon in terms of how many are actually sold because native resolution is unreadable for text. I use it for displaying graphical data though. I could see it for photography or video editing.
Another use case would be where you use different scaled resolution and you want exceptional clarity.
2,560 x 1,440, 2,560 x 1,660 and 2,880 x 1,800 are popular resolutions in-between HD and 4K. These are usually found on somewhat premium to premium laptops.
The downsides of 4k is higher power use and often lower frequency available.

The Thinkpad X1 Extreme had a 4k screen, with a 15" panel. I found it largely useless and basically needed to run it closer to 1080P because of the panel size. At that point I realized that any future laptops I would purchase would not be 4k

My XPS has and OLED 3456x2160 screen, it's superior to my MBA screen.
This OLED screen is so good that I'll never buy another portable that doesn't have one.

Once set up yes. From the store they are always way over saturated with color so it looks cartoonish.

My wife's legion 5 has a Qhd OLED panel on it and it's a beautiful display, definitely nicer than my MacBook Air. But still love the screen on my Mac for what I use it for. But definitely plenty of windows offerings with nicer screens out there. But in the budget sector, the Neo definitely has most beat at its price point.
