Do share some pics. I’d love contrasty colors between camera module and back case.
Indeed, i love the contrast between silver camera lens protector and back of iPhone which is white
The case is also silver ring magsafe and chrome edges (which reminds me the edges of 12 Pro)

Any clear magsafe case will look pretty same, magsafe ring is ugly but Magsafe convenience > aesthetic
I could buy an Apple leather case but guess what it will hide magsafe ring but also color
Too bad if anyone buy specially the popular pacific blue and its hidden by leather case :(

What case is that? Chrome edges seems interesting. Also in the market for magsafe compatible cases

The only reason I haven't considered the silver is because the stainless band is too shiny for my taste. I like the white back.

Huh. Literally never thought about it. I had a silver 5, 6, 7, X, and 12 Pro. My main reasoning at the time of purchase on the X and 12P was because the chrome bands around the device can easily be polished without having to worry about removing the colored coating. So in that regard, the phone can look newer longer. I have never used a case with any iPhone going back to gen 1, but I do put a sticker on the back of mine which more or less negates the white color of the back.

As a photographer, I also prefer silver cameras to black ones so I'm sure that has something to do with it as well

I guess nobody cares what colour phones any of us use, and I've no idea why I've just spent four days deciding which colour Pro Max to order, but I have. In the end I've put my money down for graphite because Apple's current silver just doesn't look like silver to me, it's beautiful but it isn't silver.

Beautiful collection! The X100V is my short term dream goal!

What brand is your iPhone case?
And what is your testimony about it’s quality and usage, if you don’t mind sharing? 🙂

Thank you. The V is by far my favorite x100 variant since the original.

It's not a case. Like I said in my post, I never use cases. It's a decal I had custom made. Have been making them since the iPhone 4 and simply tweak the size requirements with each new iteration of the iPhone

Nice collection. I have an X10 and X-S1 in the fuji line up. I am working on getting the x100 and x20/30 as well. I use my cameras professionally, and am past buying cameras with interchangable lenses. I have a Canon t50 but I am only keeping the 35mm 1.2 on it. I am done dragging around bags of lenses in the backcountry.

More on that later! I am working on something fun for photographers soon, getting a new computer for it as well!

I love the look of the silver phones (I’m a man) but the polished stainless on those models gets banged up really easily even just from taking the case off. I had the X and the XS and that was my experience with both. Still very pretty even with the scratches, but annoying nonetheless. I went with the space gray for my 11 Pro Max and the Pacific Blue for my 12 Pro Max and both have proved to be more or less scratch proof. Sure, a really sharp edge or drop on the pavement will still ding it up, but regular use or grime in the case seems to do zero damage. Not even so much as a hairline scratch with either color.

I had silver last year for my 11 pro max and then before that for the X. I like to get a different colour every year. I almost went with graphite but in the end chose gold as I had a gold Apple Watch and planned on upgrading to the gold series 6. I would never get a black Apple Watch. Even last year I was upset because I had the silver iPhone and gold Apple Watch. They did not match!

Same here silver 6s plus, silver x silver XS max, think it was finally time for a change 🤔😂 once I saw that bad boy pacific blue pro max in store, it was only going to be that colour.

The last silver iPhone I owned was the iPhone 6. Prior to that I had the iPhone 5 in silver too. I must admit after that I’ve bought space grey for the darker face bezel, although all iPhones have black bezels more recently. This time around I opted for the blue iPhone 12 as I think it’s a stunning looking phone and looks good with a dark Navy Caudabe Sheath case. The silver iPhone 12 would have been my second choice and I’m surprised it’s not more popular on here.

My phone colors for apple were

4- black8
6s space grey
8 space grey
11 black or whatever they call it now.

Scratches too easy. The PVD coating helps prevent micro scratches so for me I’ll never choose silver as I like my phones to stay brand spanking new

My iPhone Colors:
4S - White
5 - Slate
5S - Gold
6+ - Space Grey
7+ - Black
X- Silver
XS Max - Gold
11 Pro - Silver
12 Pro - Graphite
