because it's the day after payday for me![]()
Micro-sims and the Thursday 24th launch are all part of Steve Jobs evil plan to take over the world.
You guys may think this is ridiculous, but this is my theory and I think it may be accurate. Michael Jackson died on June 25 last year, which is the Friday. Obviously, Apple typically likes to launch on Fridays, but the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death is going to be all over the news that day. Maybe they thought it wouldn't be appropriate or something to launch on that day, considering it was one of the most publicized deaths of our time...

Or we could be more cynical and say that Apple didn't want the news about the one year anniversary to overshadow the iPhone 4 release.
And please, don't be babies and make jokes about Michael Jackson. It's been done enough. I do think my theory could be valid though. =)
It seems you Apple fanboys will take anything El Jobso says and never question it.
Why the 24th? It's not even a Friday, and is further than the presumed 18th launch. Anyone have an idea?
it's the end/begining of the fiscal year...
