Why no news on new firmware?

I don't think there will be a new firmware released at MacWorld. They would need time to beta test it first, and none has been released to developers yet. You might see an announcement of firmware 2.3 being released in beta at MacWorld with general availability a month or two later. I think the next firmware will have the following......

1. Background Push Notifications with an included iChat application. Apple has not forgot about this, they just don't want another Mobile Me fiasco.
2. Turn by Turn GPS.

Right now there is nothing I really need, safari is stable for me but sometimes tapdefense does not open.

Well I could use the push notification system but I can wait a couple more months.

Who? Why hasn't he spoken yet? Who says Apple just won't release what they we had going before. They originally put push notifications into the betas then took it out.
