Why non-backlit keyboard is not an issue for Macbooks Neo

If you learned to type properly you shouldn’t need to look at your keyboard much anyway, and anyway, turn a light on you shouldn’t be using a laptop in the dark.

Agree with all, kbd backlit is a FORM item, I hardly notice it on my Air Intel.
