I'm mostly back to using my desktop with cachyos on it. My studio, while still be used, has been relegated to a secondary device. I was able to get a KVM that was compatible to windows (my work laptop), MacOS and Linux. Oddly, the prior KVMs that I bought and returned had issues with linux or macos. I finally found one where all three platforms work
Is it just the subscription model? Tahoe? Apple taking a page from MS's playbook regarding AI?
The problem with applying that elbow grease is that an update can undo all of that work. MS has a habit of reinstalling items, services, components that were removed during a debloating process. Then there's the direction of MS trying to make windows an
agentic operating system,so seeing recall being everywhere is just the beginning, though Apple could be headed in that direction as well
