Depends what escort your talking about. If it was my escort cosworth with the stage 2 engine and anti lag then yes it would have been faster than the SS but not in top speed. I would have had him in the qtr mile. Who told you I had a escort anyway. That was a long time ago.

i call BS but that is me, and even in the end you still have an escort.
Back on topic some things will look the same from 4 to 4s as they are quite similar but loading things as small as the settings app will load faster. I notice a huge difference in some graphic intensive games just with responsiveness and lag

i really noticed a difference when going from my iPhone 4 to my 4s. switching between apps was much quicker.
The 4S is faster then the 4.
Did you try clearing all apps in the app switcher on both devices before you even tested?
