I downvote posts I dont agree with....may it be a post with foul language or bad tone to making the same tired points over and over. I upvote those I like

As I opined earlier, in another thread, juvenile use of this "function" renders it useless.

The disadvantage of the feature is that it give no reason for the rating. If you give a negative vote, was it because you legitimately disagree with the post, or the spelling/grammar was poor, or you simply dislike the poster, or they are breaking forum rules (the post should be reported in that case), or what?

Could be either, it's just three separate elements on a page that can be disabled (much like had adblock works).
