Anyone who knows anything about iPhones knows the 4S & 5S were much better than their predecessors. I had all four, the iPhone 4 & 4S, 5 &5S.

IPhone 6 series are the first generation of the new larger form factor. The bugs and annoyances they have are perfectly normal for a first generation device. What Apple learns from these will be corrected, improved and refined on the 6S. Even basic common sense assures that.

Dropping nearly one thousand dollars is not chump change. Why not show some maturity and patience. Wait for the S models and enjoy the improvements.

I'm sure you respect your friend greatly, and while none of us really know what's going on at Apple, he's *probably* wrong.

While the Watch was in development, Apple introduced Siri, Touch ID, and now Apple Pay. I'm sure they use their resources just fine. As for the antenna bands, get a good-looking case and you're all set. It's risky using any iPhone without a case as it is.

Personally, I think your friend has either been unable to find an iPhone, or his upgrade isn't until next year. He knows he wants one ;)
Apple is a multibillion dollar company. Does this guy really think they didn't put their resources into the iPhone 6 while concurrently developing the Apple Watch? Smh. It's not like Jony Ive sits in his office all day making these products by hand. While he has a lot of creative control, Apple has hundreds, if not thousands, of other extremely talented designers and engineers at their disposal.
