I'll try again after the update.

Does it work with new iTunes Update? Please let us know.

I hope new iTunes fixes my problem :D!

Good news for everyone, I guess...

the creator of Wi-Fi Sync, Greg Hughes, says that the 0xE8000065 iTunes error we're seeing is fixed in 2.0 but that fix cannot be ported to 1.x. Furthermore, he's working on 2.0 night & day for release ASAP

The small snag is that Windows users MUST reboot after any iTunes update, see getwifisync.com for more info

Resovled:0xE8000065 Error

Okay, this might help others who were having this issue 0xE8000065!!

You can see my earlier posts in this thread about how I was frustrated with this error. Finally I gave up!

Today, I resolved this issue and I no longer get this error and I am successfully able to sync with wifi sync!!! :D

The problem was Firewall IP Cydia Program! I disabled Firewall IP for WiFi sync only and I don't get that error anymore and everything works great!!!

You ppl might not have this program but there could be some other conflicting program on your iPhone that might be causing this issue!

Anyway, I am glad it finally worked! Waiting for 2.0 now!!

Thanks, reading your post mytakeontech got me thinking. I decided to enable Wi-Fi Sync in 3G Unrestrictor and then reinstalled the Windows client. Don't know if this was the cause for my 0xE8000065 errors but it bloody works now! =)

Edit: I spoke somewhat too soon. Syncing worked the 1st time, albeit veeeery sloooow. On 2nd sync the 0xE8000065 error occured but after clicking ok to the it still syncs, stiiiill veeeery slooooow

Edit2: patching the AppleMobileDevice apparently breaks OpenSSH access... ***** it, won't be wifi sync app again

Wow, so we really got that promised December update that was supposed to make WiFi Sync work... or did we? :(

I had to delete this one from the compute. Way to many bugs. Cool idea though, looking forward to the update

I do have one concern though. When I paid for this program it was with the understanding that it did not work but would when/if it is resolved and updated

The above post mentioned the update will be a 2.0 release and not an update. Does that mean we will have to pay to upgrade?

When the 2.0 release eventually comes through (ehrm...) it will be a free update for current 1.x users.

Thread, I command you - arise!

Seeing as not even Apple could make a fully working and reliable wifi sync, I give this guy at least a little but of credit after all these years of disappointment. :p

You mean Apple's wifi sync does not work for you..reliably?
