"When" PC is supported then I will support a well deserving developer "IF" it is not released with 4.0. By the looks of things...both of these will be available about the same time, would rather support the developer of this app then Apple since they are so damn stingy but we shall see who wins me over first.

I just bought it, took about 2 mins to set up, syncs perfectly, I'm amazed, worth every penny for me because it's a pain in the butt to plug it into my laptop all the time. Also syncs are very fast, same as USB.

no way to schedule syncs that I can find, hopefully that gets added

edit- only complaint I have is there doesn't seem to be a way to initiate a sync from the computer itself, without the app open the iPhone doesn't show up in itunes so the only way to initiate the sync is to do it from the phone by opening the app

What if you use backgrounder? I imagine you'd be able to hit sync in iTunes and it'd work. Not tried that yet, will do later.

EDIT: Yup, that works fine.

Why would any of you guys pay $10 for this? I could justify maybe 1 or 2, but 10 is retarded. I'll wait till the price comes down... or when the "price comes down".

My biggest gripe would be the slower speeds. Plugging the phone in to sync is not that big a task. If they can get the speeds up in the future, then I will consider it.

Agreed. For $10, it should be as fast or faster than USB. It's very convenient, but I think the "cool" factor is driving sales, not utility.

Great.

Two things:

1. Where can I get support for this thing?
2. Related to 1. where can I file a show-stopping bug, such as, I don't know, the fact that the Mac portion of the software interferes with restoring/updating the iPhone?

EDIT: Disregard my entire post! The support email is at the bottom of their site. :)

The next time I tried a wired (iPhone) sync, iTunes errored out and couldn't complete the sync. Not saying it's the app's fault, but that was the point when I decided this wasn't something I needed on my devices. Which is why I'm posting: when you come to the same conclusion, note that you need to go back to the website to download a separate uninstaller to remove the the sync utility from your Mac. Just trying to save someone some hassle.

It's not about affording $10. It's about market or intrinsic value. It's just not there.

If your a mostly mobile laptop user I would argue it is, at least for me, I don't own a desktop and a lot of the time I'm not sitting at my desk. Most of the time when I just want to sync an app or podcast before I leave Wi-Fi Sync is awesome and is easier than unplugging my usb cord from the wall at home or having to carry it with me when I'm out. It's not as fast as usb but it only takes about 2 mins to move over 2-3 podcasts and I'm sure the developer will continue to improve it. Yes I would have preferred if it were $2.99 or $4.99 but $10 won't make or break me and it makes my life easier.

Problems with Wi-Fi Sync

I downloaded Wi-Fi sync a few days ago and everything worked fine.

Today I updated iTunes to the current build, 9.1.1. Now Wi-Fi sync doesn't work - I can an error on iTunes saying it cannot connect to the iPhone.

AND WORSE, the iPhone doesn't show up in iTunes even when I connect via USB.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Wi-Fi software on my Mac, but it still doesn't work...

Anyone have any ideas??

EDIT: Giving the computer the ol' restart seems to have fixed things...
