Wi-fi syncing in iOS 5

If you eject the device and then close iTunes it stays closed until device rejoins the network, or that's what it does on mine

Yeah but after sleeping and checking your phone again, it "re-connects" so it does it every time.

Hmm weird. Mine only does it if I've actually left the house. Maybe one of us is glitching.

With iOS5 you can use it whilst syncing. That's what we are saying

You only need wifi to sync. Power is not a requirement.

you only need to be connected to an outlet for automatic syncing. you can manually sync any time when you're on your network
