No problem; As a matter of fact, I walked out of the Apple store last week with two!

Precisely!

Apple (the master of deception) has convinced their fanboys that their beloved iPhone is rare & hard to get. This tactic is very effective on the uneducated. When the fact is, Apples got tens of thousands in stock. It's how they continue to set sales records.

Does anyone else share my opinion that in the near future (within 3-4 years) WebOS will be referred to in the business world as the new Blackberry?
No.

Especially since all of the palm folks who developed the webos and phone have since left HP. I think one of the worst companies that could of purchased palm was HP, there's little synergy in both products and corporate culture. Just look at the mass exodus of palm employees.

I returned my ip4 because of all the dropped calls and prox. sensor issues. Decided to get the Torch which as a long time BB user, its definitly a great device. There are some lag issues at times but its RIM's best device to date.

There are some things I love about OS 6 compared to iOS4. The notification bar incorporates all things into one place and is configurable (as well as different tones for different things; messages by contact, gtalk, etc.). Also LOVE the follow up flags w/notification. And the social feeds app is really something I like. Posting to twitter, facebook and myspace in one operation is sweet.

How apple doesn't address these small things, like configurable tones for apps, is beyond me. But I still would love to get back to the ip4 is they would only fix the phone part.

True...that's a nice touch to be able to check things from home screen quickly. Also like the fact you can turn on/off wifi, bluetooth, etc from the home screen.

Yep another welcomed feature. I think RIM did its homework well, but fell short on the hardware side. A faster processor would help with some of the navigation lag issues. Browser is light-years ahead of previous OS's but not as good as the ip4.

I still have 3 weeks to decide if I want to return it for another try w/ip4.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)

I am by no means a bb fan, but I got to play with a torch for a while this morning and I was pleasantly surprised. I found the touch screen appropriately responsive and easy to use, the hardware solid, and the keyboard really good. All in all, it was the most impressed I've ever been with a bb.

That said, I will not be trading in my ip4 any time soon. I'm just surprised that someone who already liked bb was not happy with the torch because even I as a bb hater found it pretty nice.

My fiancé wanted to buy one last weekend, so I called 4 apple stores - 2 had the 32 GB only and 2 had none. My local AT&T store had one 32 left (no 16s) and best buy had a few 32s. So yeah, they are still hard to get some places, but supply is finally catching up with demand (it's been almost 2 months - had to happen eventually).

MY first and only experience with blackberry was the Storm.

I lived, breathed, and bled crackberry.com for 9 months. Just waiting for that next OS to be leaked every fews weeks. Hoping, and praying that this would be the OS that would validate my faith in blackberry, and fill that void for a phone that was enjoyable to use, that I didn't have to spend every friday/sat night trying to tweak to make it just right, but never getting there.

**** that ****. I got the 3G S the day it came out, and have never looked back. I kick myself everyday for not switching over sooner.

You think apple has fan boys? Try bashing RIM over on crackberry and see what happens to ya

That is the truth. The favorite word on that board is TROLL SMH
