Yes we'll all these things take time to refresh in the system and propagate properly.. Changing sims or phines( with a new sim usually) always requires some update to the microcell. Some find that all they need to do is drop the number in question from the microcell and then wait 10 min and add it back. With a reboot in between for good measure. Others find that a total deactivate and reactivate after say 30 min in required and then add the number back and all the other numbers. That last one usually dies it all the time but can take up to two hours to be fully activated.I just got off the phone with ATT. I have always used a micro-cell at my home because of poor coverage. When WiFi calling launched, I was anxious to give it a try. I tried activating and got the "oops" error. I called ATT and they said I needed a new sim card. Got one and tried again, no go. They said since mine was the T-Mobile version, it was not provisioned for WiFi calling and wouldn't be anytime soon. Bummer right? Well here is whats worse... Ever since changing my sim card, my MicroCell isn't picking up my phone and now I can't get service at home! Beyond ticked off!
I'd be very surprised if you could simply change the sim and not have to do at least one of these steps on the microcell
