Well if I recall correctly, RE: Umbrella Chronicles was touted to use this.
I'd rather see another game with a play style like Resident Evil 4.

I don't really see the need for this but hopefully it'll expand on the Wii "pointer" function.

I recall seeing the blurb about the Zapper coming with RE:UC also.

Kudos about another RE4 type game. I'm bummed that they they've gone from RE4 to this incarnation. :( RE:UC looks like a PS2 game to me. It seems kind of like an afterthought, but I'll definitely pick it up for 2 player action.

Geez, there sure is a lot of complaining about a $20 attachment.

The Zapper at this point looks like an entirely optional piece of equipment, so you don't need to get it. Plus, even though the button placement isn't entirely lifelike or ideal, I think it's still beneficial for gamers that find the Wiimote too light and imprecise to aim accurately. (Example: the Haunted House shooting minigame in Super Paper Mario - I found myself trying to steady the Wiimote on my knee.)

And complaining about the pack-in game featuring a crossbow? Please. Since when is the Wiimote and Nunchuk an accruate representation of, well, anything? Besides, gun games are coming. (Ghost Squad, RE:UC, Medal of Honor).

If Nintendo released a "better" Zapper with more lifelike button placement, there's no way it would cost $20, and people would be griping about the cost of that.

I pivot my elbow on my arm rest and it really helps with my accuracy. I can also play for a longer period of time since I don't need to hold up my hand. :)

I like rail games, but if developers use it as another excuse to put cheese onto the Wii, I'll be annoyed. And now that I've been playing Metroid which looks great and runs super fast, I better not see any PS2 or Cube looking games that have slow down.

While I'm not a huge rail-shooter fan, I've been dying for a really solid co-operative game for the Wii. I'll drop $40 for a pair of attachements if it's to enhance that kind of gameplay.
