I, for one, would love Siri simply to change my music without going to the iTunes app lol
Mavericks has too many bugs for that now!
I haven't noticed this being discussed for a while, but it has been suggested a few times in the past:
Siri for Mac
Mountain Lion with iOS features / Siri in OSX next logical step?
Is Siri gonna come to Mac OS?
will Siri be available on Macs?
Siri for Mac?
Siri on Mac OS X
Siri for mac?
yeah its like nobody cares, so knowing that at least SOME apple employees browse the forums (this is like the biggest forum for apple products that I know of) maybe this will serve as reminder, maybe they're working on it, maybe they don't care at all. Maybe some third party will take the quantum leap.
You can already do a lot with speakable items. Although most pre 2012/13 computers don't have great built-in mics and thus have pretty terrible recognition of what you're saying.
But yeah I expect siri to debut on OSX probably within the next two iterations.
There's also Dragon Dictate but that costs quite a bit of money.
