I know this thread is odd, but I like to add a little something something
There are those of us who have real problems and those who don't with our computers. And then there are also those of us who are real perfectionists and those of us who aren't. You know who you are.
My top-of-the-line original MBP has a 8 page repair history, and let me tell you...it has gone thru everything! From dancing back lite keys to lawnmower speaker sounds. Mobo has been replaced 3-4x, etc etc. I don't abuse my machine, but I do use it a lot since I do IT consulting and quite the computer phenom.
I am only thinking of getting a free replacement from Apple because it has issues, not because I look for problems to get it replaced so I can get a new machine. Not suggesting your problems are not real, but even Apple can't make PERFECT machines. And picking on minute details to get it repaired is utterly ridiculous.
