that's ok, we're all entitled to our views in this forum. Peace!

Seems like the whiners are out in full-force today.![]()
again, this happens every single time Apple rolls out a new computer. heck, it doesn't even just apply to their computers.
just browse the iPhone section and look for the older threads about a month ago. the same whiners who bought an 8GB iPhone and then Apple introduced the 16GB model. the same types of whiners emerged from every crack and crevice (sp?):
"man I'm pissed! I just bought an 8GB iPhone and one week later Apple porked me by introducing a better model. wha! wha! wha!"
like I said before, the circle of life continues...
How's this? I ordered a new Macbook Thursday or Friday, and the DAY after it ships, they update the Macbooks. The only thing I really have a problem with is the fact that mine has a 80gig HD, and the new ones have 160gig HDs. Talk about a difference.
I don't know what I'll do. The Macbook is scheduled to arrive on Thursday or Friday. I suppose I could call Apple's customer service line and discuss my options.
Hi...
I'd like Dell to give me back all the money I spent on their crap.
(starts breathing into a paper bag...)
Let that be a lessoned learned.
Most of us don't need the latest and greatest. If you don't then buy refurbished or the previous model line, you'll save hundreds!
its funny how all repliers in this post are bashing him...
give him a break, he's just a little kid =)
Who cares about the new MBP if you have the June 2007 revision....
The reason why I bought a mac is because I know it'll last for at least 3 years as apple will continue support it until 2 OSX releases later.
And the speed bump isn't that noticeable....the thread starter failed to realize it.
As for your keyboard, go call Apple and request a repair, and next time wipe the pre-mature seepage off your keyboard when you're done with yourself.
That is the BEST line I have EVER read on this site
Lol @ this thread.
I bought my base MBP a month ago and I'm still happy with my purchase as there was no way I could have waited until now to get a computer. I use it everyday at work, home, and school and although the bigger hard drive, faster processor, and more Vram seem they would be nice they are things I really don't need. I totally expected the MBP's to be updated sometime soon and I'm perfectly content that I made the purchase when I did. Just like when I buy a phone, car, or computer I always ask myself if what I'm buying now is worth the money I'm spending on it and am I content with the product if it is updated by a newer and better one in the near future.

so the OP got a refurb last december...
hey guys! He/She misled us to think that what he got was a NEW one..
and now the OP is asking an exchange...
one word.GREED
i rest my case.
I bought theMBP and it arrived yesterday. Called apple this morning and they were more than happy (spoke w/
Christopher) to return my "opened" MBP and waiving the restocking fee. I was offered 350.00 to keep the same one I already had. I opted for that because I used the edu discount and that means I had about 550 off the price of the MBP total (350 back from apple and 200 off with edu discount). Honestly I could not beat that because I paid less than the refurb price. I am very pleased with my customer service. I know I currently have the less than top of the line MBP but this is all I neeeeed!!!
so i just bought a new MBP at the end of december...
will they let me return it to upgrade to a new one???
im kinda annoyed...
