1. iPhone release dates in other countries around the world.
2. White iPhone release dates in all countries and the dates to do it.

If they are going to talk about the antenna issue Apple will admit a problem, announce a small hardware change, maybe announce if people want to exchange there phone for a revised phone they can but this will take some time. Apple could then either offer a extended warranty, say by 2-3 months because that could be the time needed to replace all phones! Or they could very heavily subsidise the bumpers for people (like me! But I bought my bumper so I could receive a refund so it falls in line with the subsidised pricing) want to keep there phone because to them this is a none issue.

Apple should also extend the period of time you can have a full refund for your undamaged iPhone 4 by another 30 days from the press conference, that way people have more time to make there decision and see if software DOES fix it for them.

I'd eat my hat if there was a full blown recall, it's just not feasible.

Wait change my vote from no to yes.

I thought about this and heres what I came up with.

iOS is Apples new platform of choice. They don't care about OSX and the Mac line as much as iOS. Why? Because iOS is a cash cow and their window into cloud computing. (Steve's Vision)

This is their chance to keep the Apple name in outstanding shape, or have it fall drastically. Admitting and fixing the issue will look so good to the consumer and will keep them on top in most peoples eyes for a long period of time. The we got you back attitude they have displayed an promised needs to be executed perfectly here.

I think we might ere something like this...

"After further testing internally and independently, we have discovered there is an imperfection with the antenna system the needs to be immediately addressed. We will be launching a revised version of the I4 with a green dot that can be swapped at your local apple retail store for your current apple device. While taking care of our customers, we will be keeping true to our environmental commitment and installing the correct hardware on the phones with issue and after testing and inspection, be sent to our stores for sale at a later date."

The apologies ensue.

This would be the best option. Perhaps the stores can fix the antenna with a kit sent from Apple overnight. Although, there would be a wait time for the fix and an appointment would need to be scheduled.
