at the hands of Bangladesh. Good thing Punter didn't rubbish the Bangladeshi's before the test.
excuse me, but, what are you talking about? what test?
I believe we are on about the test series of cricket. Link
We better escape the embarrassment
Is there another sporting event going on in the world? The cricket test against bangladesh, who are currently at the bottom of the heap. The only previous test they have one is against a depleted Zimbabwe.
It was looking like an innings defeat for australia earlier. I Bangladesh win it will be the biggest upset in world cricket since the dinosaurs became extinct.
EDIT: beat me to it.
Bangladesh were doing well at 50 for 0, but they seem to have got a bit excited and kept playing one day cricket. It's now 66 for 2 and they will be a bit nervous.
It would be a shame if Bangladesh collapse after such a phenomenal start. But if anyone can recover it's the Aussies.
78 for 4
With a lead of 230 Bangladesh are still on top but it looks ominous.
We'll see how much longer the good guys (Bangladesh) can hang on. I'd like to give my Aussie friends a good time over this.
77 for 4
Dinosaurs are extinct?? Why wasn't I told, next you'll be telling me it's all part of gods plan.
123 for 4, the Bangladeshis are really trying to put up a good fight after some early struggles.
And by the way, everyone knows that dinosaurs didn't exist. Sheesh
124 for 5 at the close of day 3. It'll take a better batting innings from Australia than the first to catch up, but they are well within striking distance. We'll see how it turns out.
Pitty they're not airing it on free to air TV.
Keep the scores comming
I recall watching a rerun of the Australia vs. Bangledesh match when I was in India where the Aussies lost sorely (they have cricket playing on at least one channel every hour of the day). Like three or four of the top batters were out within the first 25 runs or something. Amazing if the Bangledeshi's could win it again.
Red Sox home opener
speaking of real sport....who were those guys that threw out the first pitch, they seemed kinda lost.
Go Bangladesh !!!!!!
Go Go Go
Smash The Aussies
First The English, Now Bangladesh.
:d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d
I didn't get to watch, unfortunately. However, redsox.com has this:
I figure maybe one of them (Pesky) even knew what was going on. I'm sure he remembers how to throw to home, if not from the mound.
The Aussies need a good beating to teach them for been so cocky...
Seem's like Ponting's new bat didn't work for him
How mant centuries has he scored with it this year, more than the New Zealand team to date this year me thinks
You're just jealous!
With the new legal bat or the old illegal bat?
Not that the Aussies whould ever be caught cheating the rules at cricket...
Are you guys STILL going on about that?
Didn't Punter score a century in both innings of a test 3 times over a period of 8 mathces recently? The only other person to do this took an entire career.
Was it against the rules at the time?
I think so but it was with the forementioned reinforced bat that he's not allowed to use anymore, because it was deemed to be cheating. Lets see how he does with a normal bat over the next year, not to well so far.
Can you provide a link that deemed the use of the bat to be 'cheating'? AFAIK reinforced bats were just not a direction that the ICC wanted to go. Probably should have happened with tennis as well.
