yes, it comes with the micro sim.....just sync the new phone to itunes and it will transfer your plan over.

oh ok cool. thank you. now look at the thread about someone who called ATT and the rep said they should call ATT first before they activate the new phone in order not to lose the grandfathered unlimited!

I got a new MacBook Pro several months ago...I'd like to begin using my MBP as the main synching computer...Has anyone experienced this before? Any insight on how to properly transition to the MBP being my main synching source?

This is a great question. I have a similar situation in that I want to use a new computer to sync my iPhone, but it currently syncs on an older iMac. Is there a simple and direct way to transfer the sync information from one computer to the other either via the phone or otherwise?
Thanks!

Your current phone has to be running the same software as iPhone 4, so of course 4.0, then you have to backup to restore. AFAIK you can't restore from a backup from an earlier firmware version.

I don't mean to hi-jack this thread if I did sorry. I didn't want to make a new thread and I tried the search it's not working for me today for some odd reason

Anyways with my question I have is: I will be getting the new iPhone 4 but right now I have the iPhone 3GS, so I'm giving my iPhone 3GS to my mom, do I need to deauthorize it so she can sync it to her compture? I know I would take her SIM Card out of her samsung phone to put it into the iPhone 3GS, just confuse on the deauthoriz part of the iTunes

thanks for your guys time :)

does this mean that if I currently use an original iPhone and upgrade to a iPhone 4, that I will not be able to restore from a backup? (since original iPhone is not compatible with iOS 4 and iPhone 4 will likely come with in installed?)

Do I need to de-authorize my 3GS on my compture when I get my new iPhone 4 so my mom can sync to her computer?
