Hey all,

I'm currently running Final Cut Studio 2 on my MBP. I'm looking to upgrade to FCS3. My question is, IF I wanted to do a clean install of my computer sometime down the line, would I need to install FCS2, then use my FCS3 upgrade discs? Or could I just throw in the FCS3 "upgrade" discs and install the entire suite that way?

Basically, does it work like the snow leopard "upgrade" disc? (You know, where you can clean install using the "upgrade" and install the full OS)

Thanks.

Yes you can. All it will do it ask you for the serial number for FCS2 when you install FCS3 :) So you don't have to have FCS2 installed at all.
