will ipad 2 have any flaws?

I'm guessing that the "thinness" of the edge actually makes it require more of a tighter grip when picking up, producing more carpel type stress. This happens with phones that are too thin...
I like iPad 1's design better and just bought one last week for$100 off.
OS4.3 should give me what I "need".
