Will iPhone run our of stock tommorow?

mine too

Have fun with that. My apple store is inside the mall, so I don't see the point in camping outside the mall. The mall opens when it opens. I doubt the mall would appreciate campers anyways, probably see it as a security risk.

Ours is in the mall too, they know we camp and know we do not cause issues. we form our line through the night.

Oh I know! Even better is when I do come in, I get to see the faces of all the customers wanting a white 32GB thinking that it was already sold out since we are only getting 2 (1 of which is mine), and I just come in and say hey, I'll buy mine now hahahaha. They're gonna be fuming! :D

Wow, your only getting two 32GB whites?

I was thinking about going to the Apple store at Sherway Gardens (just outside of Toronto), but I'm going to stick with my local Wireless Wave store at a mall right in my town (Oakville Place Mall)

The mall I'm going to's doors open @ 7am & Wireless Wave opens at 9am.
I'ma show up at 7am, and just sit around and study for my exam (which is at 11:45am tomorrow :p) while I wait :).

But to answer your questions, I think should have a few left, I haven't even seen an iPhone 3G S ad on tv yet, so I don't know if any non-fanboys even know about it! But it could sell out even faster than the 3G because of the price.. But in conclusion I might try to find out how many they'll get in stock?

Yeah dude. This is the break down for my store (Guelph): 2 16GB White, 2 32GB White, 6 16GB Black, and 4 32GB Black. Saw them in the boxes earlier today when I was in to tell my manager to save one for me. They even had the demo unit out of the box and was playing with it all day. Ironically, my manager was saying that the white 32GB was the one that people have been calling about the most...so that makes me even more lucky :D

On the other hand, I still believe the Apple Stores will have a ton of them...or at least more than 14 lol.

How would one go about doing that?

I think most malls close at 9pm if I'm correct, but.. Try calling your local Apple store, or the mall where the store is (they'll be able to connect you to the Apple store) and ask how many they've got/are getting in.
:) Good luck!

I thought about that, but i don't think apple would give out that kind of information would they? I mean, what if someone pulled a heist on all the iPhones? ;)

Haha!

It's worth a shot! I had emailed my local mall's customer service and they told me about how many phones each store in the mall were getting. But It's definitely easier to call! Lol

I've been wondering the same thing. I'm planning on making my purchase at an AT&T store because I will be starting up my own contract with them as well. I did not pre-order, and I do not plan on waiting in line tomorrow morning. when I spoke to an AT&T sales representative Monday afternoon he said they only received 10 iPhones last year. I'm hoping this year will be a little different considering the fact that Best Buy, Walmart, AT&T and Apple are all distributors of the product. fingers are crossed!

will have probably more than people think. AT&T of course is limited but people are mistaking this year for last in several ways:

a) people are getting units sent to their homes
b) Apple is sending inventory based on estimated "reservations"
c) Most upgraders will wait and not pay an extra $200

Put it all together with this economy and you will find many Apple Stores doing fine on inventory through the first day and weekend.

No worries here in NYC. The only decision where to go. Will probably try AT&T in the neighborhood but no expectation.

I agree. I don't think most Apple stores will sell out over the weekend....

d) They shouldn't have the server problems they had last year, either.

I don't know. They had server problems with the 3.0 release already, showing just how unstable the Apple servers are. I mean even when the 3.0 GM was released only to devs, the servers came to a halt and no one could download it and that is a very limited subset of people compared to the general iPhone community as a whole. I certainly expect server problems tomorrow.

If it is a popular store, there is a distinct possibility

If not, I doubt it

Too many possibilities that we would need to know....
